The day, which was held in early October in the beautiful location of Villa Elodia in Trivignano Udinese, was open to the public, with the possibility for our craftsmen to make direct sales.

Nothing to do with what I might have expected, nor with a ‘street market’, nor were the artisans
were all from the local area: some from Milan, some from Barletta, a variety of innovative and characteristic proposals were gathered for the occasion, highlighting true excellence in the field of high quality craftsmanship.

The aim was, in fact, to showcase artistic talents of regional and national origin; a showcase for exclusively Hand Made brands and articles.

An event dedicated to those who do not want to conform to easy, consumerist fashion, but who also want to express themselves through what they wear, standing out with elegance and originality. An opportunity to showcase unique and haute couture garments, recovering the class and quality of the past, but in a modern and innovative key. In short, a meeting between present and past to propose only the best.

CNA’s speech, immediately after the argentine tango show by our Maria Sole, was about the necessary personal and entrepreneurial growth of the craftsman who can no longer remain closed in his workshop; he must also start a path of customer management and online sales in order to propose his skills to a wider audience.

Our thanks to the organisers for having thought of inviting the Istituto Statale Cossar – Leonardo da Vinci of Gorizia, which gives continuation and training to the passion that manual workmanship conveys, a passion linked to the sensations we have all felt since our childhood, feeling between our fingers the weft of fabric being cut by scissors.

There is also a hint of the sense of creating a ‘business model’ within CNA to build customer loyalty, to have more contractual strength and to fill those labour gaps that are often part of small specialised businesses.

Barbara Pietroni dell’Associazione «Teatro Tango» intervista Maria Sole Salvador sulla sua storia e sulla genesi del progetto Ineditotango, il concept ed il grande lavoro che c’è dietro le sue famose collezioni di abiti da tango argentino.

In his exploratory journey among stylists and the latest trends in the world of argentine tango, he couldn’t help but talk about Ineditotango and Maria Sole Salvador.

Friulina, graduated in Fine Arts in Venice, has attended design courses in which she expresses all her passion for fashion. In Milan, a city where he still often returns to update himself on new trends in the sector, he works in well-known companies such as style and product manager (prêt-à-porter, sportswear, informal, casual, jeans).

A baggage made of creativity and technique that will be the starting point of “Ineditotango“, a collection that offers traditional concepts of classic tango dress, modelling, cuts and slit, but enriched and updated with ideas that refer to new fashion trends. Each garment is unique, one different from the other, with handmade finishes that enrich the value of the dress, making it unique and special.

«The fabrics are all italian», specifies the designer, «stretch jersey, tulle, stretch voile, satin, precious silk inserts, paillettes, embroidery work». Wide choice of colours, always updated according to the fashions of the moment. Salvador designs and creates, a high-level tailoring takes care of the unique garments, while the hand embroidery is always by the designer, who takes at least half a day to create a single garment.

Next to the traditional collection of unique dress, “Ineditotango Basic” is flanked by more linear models and simplified in detail, while the fit remains very accurate. Elegant dresses, designed for dancing, but also suitable for the evening or leisure. The fabrics are stretch and therefore comfortable, they adapt to any build. The models, in different colours, can be easily combined with each other creating the most varied combinations.

So far the designer, who designed tango dresses even before the passion for this dance conquered her, has sold her creations in the showroom in San Vito al Tagliamento, where her company is based, and on the occasion of festivals and events throughout Italy and abroad. Today he opts for fixed points of sale; he has already opened them in Turin, in a milonga, and in Milan, at a clothing store of brands and accessories.

This month she arrives in Vienna, a city that she appreciates a lot after seeing her models at festivals; her products like and will be sold in an Argentine tango school; contacts ready in Germany, but for the future Maria Sole focusses on Rome.

The Friulian Maria Sole Salvador, founder and soul of the brand never stops, as she explained in this interview with Il Quotidiano FVG.

She tells us how she was born in her experience in fashion?

«I have always had a natural creative predisposition for drawing, which I deepened by graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. During those years I attended a monographic course on the “Non-dressed dress” from there began my particular interest in fashion. After the Academy I enrolled in a course in “Fashion Design” in Milan at the “Domus Academy“, starting my career as a fashion designer at prestigious Milanese stylistic studios. Then I worked in well-known Italian fashion companies as a style and product manager, from prêt-à-porter, to the sportswear, informal, casual clothing, up to the world of jeans. In 2010 I thought of “getting on my own business” and making the big leap».

Why “Ineditotango”?

«The idea comes from the combination of a long experience in fashion-style and the passion for argentine tango, each dress is unique. one is different from the other, the handmade finishes enrich the value of the dress, and make it so unique and special».

Today Ineditotango opens a new corner in Milan. How is retail growing in this direction??

«The distribution focus of the brand will be on this type of space, dedicated exclusively to the sale of our garments housed in the Mosè Bianchi 13 store, which is located in Milan at number 13 of via Mosè Bianchi, and he will join that of Turin at the prestigious Tangosolar in via Parma 29/B, who has selected Ineditotango as its exclusive brand and that is giving us excellent sales satisfaction».

What are the strategic countries??

«Beyond the Italian customers who appreciate and buy my product, I am managing to establish a relationship with Austria where, thanks to the new project with a large school in Vienna, Ineditotango is supplying several items from the collection, then to follow there is Germany and France where interesting collaborations are being born».

How important is the web??

«The site www.ineditotango.com has just taken off and it is still premature to make evaluations. However, I can say that customers see the garments on the internet and call to make orders by choosing the colours of the clothes».
